Jeffrey Brier, President
CLU®, ChFC®, CASL
Jeffrey Brier, CLU®, ChFC®, CASL – Has held many leadership positions for local non profit agencies including The Miriam Hospital, Lifespan, the Jewish Community Center of Rhode Island and Camp Jori. In addition to his MBA degree from Washington University he has been committed to furthering his insurance education. Jeffrey was one of the first insurance agents in the country to receive the CASL designation recognizing his knowledge in the long-term care insurance field. Jeffrey and his wife Jessica reside in Providence.
OUR HISTORY
Milton Brier, CLU (1928-2012), a native Rhode Islander, entered the insurance industry in 1980 when he began working with New England Life in Providence. A Brown University graduate, Milton was a member of both the Moses Brown School Hall of Fame and the Rhode Island Jewish Athletic Hall of Fame. As a former president of Camp Jori, and a trustee of The Moses Brown School, The Miriam Hospital and Temple Emanu-El, Milton gave back to the community in which he was raised.
In 1985, Milton's son Jeffrey joined New England Life and not long after together they formed Brier & Brier. In 1990, Brier & Brier expanded their services to include Property & Casualty insurance for coverage of homes, autos and businesses. To further address the needs of its diverse client base, in 2015 Jeffrey Brier became a certified Medicare broker to help clients transitioning to Medicare and today represents major providers of Medicare Supplement and Advantage plans.
